Formerly the Offices of Workforce Development, this division provides a full range of employment services including resume development, computers, fax machines, ; telephones, job search assistance, job referrals and academic and vocational skills training for adults and dislocated workers. Youth programs providing GED preparation, pre-employment training, basic skills remediation, occupational skills training and support services are also available for economically disadvantaged youth ages 14-21.

Addresses the problem of juvenile firesetting through fire safety intervention. Goals include reducing the number of fires set by juveniles.

NUTRITION PROJECT

YOUTH SHELTER

A temporary, out-of-home placement for juveniles determined to be "in-crisis" by the Family Court. The shelter has an integrated program of education, recreation and social activities, with individual and family counseling as ordered by the courts.
