About Public Meetings

Public meetings begin at 8:00 p.m. Most of the public meetings are in the Public Meeting Room, 5th floor, Administration & Records Building, Court Street, Morristown. Some meetings may also be conducted during the year in one of the county's 39 municipalities. Please note there is a public comment portion at every evening meeting.

Freeholder work sessions begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Knox Room, also on the 5th floor of the Administration & Records Building. While the public is invited to attend the work sessions, there is no public comment portion of the meeting unless granted by the Freeholder Director. There is also the opportunity at each work session for the Freeholders to go into executive session to discuss various matters. This portion of the meeting is closed to the public.

Meeting agendas posted online are tenative. Items may be added or deleted prior to or during the Freeholder meetings.
