Focus on Morris County

Morris County Public Safety Youth Academy

The Morris County Public Safety Youth Academy is a five-day program open to all Morris County, NJ residents who will be entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2015. The program is sponsored by the Board of Chosen Freeholders and is completely free of charge to cadets. Learn more about the Youth Academy. Applications are due July 10.

Phoenix House, Mendham Boro

Phoenix House, Mendham

The Phoenix House was built c. 1820 by William Phoenix. The property functioned as an inn until 1857 when his daughters used the property as a boarding house. The Borough of Mendham has had its municipal offices on the property since 1938.
